Leading heavy equipment specialists Terrafirma Equipment Sales has increased its support with Honda Racing, committing as title sponsor of Wilson Todd’s MX2 class entry.

The brand has been supporting Honda Racing since 2017, this added sponsorship to the team in line with Todd’s signing for 2022 and the partnership will feature limited edition graphics throughout the year on his factory CRF250R.

“Darren [Assink] has become more than a sponsor, he is a trusted friend, he is also an avid fan of the sport and Honda – he has a collection of more than 10 Honda’s including Justin Brayton’s championship-winning 450,” said Honda Racing team owner Yarrive Konsky.

In relation to the ongoing partnership with Konky’s Honda Racing outfit, Terrafirma Equipment Sales managing director Darren Assink added: “Terrafirma Equipment Sales has experienced significant success over the past five years. People in motorsport use our products in their businesses and on their properties.

“Since aligning with Honda Racing and Supercar teams through Yarrive we have achieved tangible success. I am very patriotic, our family love motocross, I used to race motocross, superbikes and supercross. I also appreciate what the Anzacs did for Australia, we have the opportunities we have because of them.

“We will reveal a range of different graphics this year… We will do a limited edition set to support the Anzacs and we will do a limited edition set to support Breast cancer. We will also give away a CRF110 later next year to raise awareness and money for breast cancer”.

Todd’s signing with the team marks his return to domestic racing after a two-year stint in the MX2 World Championship. The North-Queenslander will be looking to make add a third Australian MX2 title to his collection, previously winning the crown in 2018 and 2019.
