A strategic alliance between new ride park Motoland and Motorcycling Queensland has been put in place in order to help drive participation within the sport.

The partnership marks a first for motocross in the Sunshine State, where a private entity partners with a state controlling body to provide a world-class experience.

Also joining the strategic alliance is the Moreton Districts Motorcycle Club to help develop grass-roots competition in South-East Queensland.

A special component of the relationship between the three parties is that the facility will be open for weekly recreational rides and hosting racing from club level, to planning for national and potentially international competition.

As recreational ride parks and motocross clubs traditionally don’t coexist at the same complex, Motoland founder Adam Bailey believes this is a critical facet of Motoland’s mission to help make the sport more accessible.

“It’s been fantastic to have been able to create such a close relationship with Motorcycling Queensland since we began working on this project a little over 12 months ago,” Bailey explained.

“Our mission for Motoland is simple – to create the greatest place on dirt, for riders of all skill levels and their families to enjoy.

“By aligning with MQ and the Moreton Districts Motocross Club, we’re also able to offer the facility on agreed weekends for club racing activity, as well as the potential for major competition events in the future.”

Motoland will feature multiple elevated viewing areas, quality facilities and amenities to truly provide a first-class experience, in addition to three brand new tracks – each designed to cater to different skill levels.

Further details about Motoland – located in Tivoli – will be provided in the coming weeks, including pricing and booking information, with an official opening day expected to be in the early stages of October. To register to be one of the first to ride Motoland, visit www.motoland.com.au.
