The South Australian rounds of the 2021 Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC) to be held at Kingston SE in September have been cancelled.

Motorcycling Australia’s (MA) announcement marks the latest blow to the calendar, with border closures and extended lockdowns underlining that decision.

“The AORC management team have worked closely with our South Australian counterparts and host club Keyneton MCC, but under the current regulations with border closures and extended lockdowns in several states, it is not possible for rounds nine and 10 to proceed,” a statement from MA confirmed.

The series has been unable to resume since rounds one and two at Golden Beach in April, as Kyogle, Nowra and Queensland Moto Park (QMP) all remain postponed, while rounds 11 and 12 at Omeo, Victoria, are still scheduled for 16-17 October.
