Queensland will soon see the addition of a new motocross facility, Motoland, targeted to open at the end of September and provide improved facilities to help riders and their families get involved in the sport.

Approximately a 20-minute drive from Brisbane and 60 minutes from the Gold Coast, the yet to be disclosed venue will feature three tracks – beginner, intermediate and a main track.

“It’s designed and built from the ground up to be the best possible experience for dirt bike riders and their families,” commented AME Management’s Adam Bailey, who is heavily involved with the Motoland development.

“We want to introduce new people to the sport, and we want people who do ride to come out and have the best possible fun they can, both on and off the track.

“It involves everything from the track preparation itself, making sure it’s the best it possibly can be, as we want to have the best-prepared track in the country, no question.

“Other facilities include decent food, barista coffee, some retail and chill areas to create a nice vibe out there so people want to spend more time at the track.”

As track development continues to accelerate at ‘The Greatest Place on Dirt’, further information will be released. To register to be one of the first to ride at the new complex visit www.motoland.com.au.
