Honda Racing has completed its split sponsorship structure that’s been introduced for 2021, announcing Terrafirma Equipment Sales and Delcon Civil alongside the previously-confirmed Mongrel Boots.

Mongrel Boots was revealed earlier this week for Brett Metcalfe’s factory CRF450R, while Terrafirma will back Kirk Gibbs and Delcon Civil is behind Kyle Webster’s MX2 entry.

Implementing a strategy that has been vastly successful in Supercars commercial arrangements managed by team director Yarrive Konsky, the trio of primary Honda Racing title sponsors effectively replace Penrite for this season. The team’s oil supplier will instead be Castrol in 2021.

“We’ve had a great relationship with Yarrive and the factory Honda team and shared in the many successes achieved,” explained Terrafirma managing director Darren Assink. “We have supported the team since 2018 and certainly Chris Blose winning the Supercross championship the following year was a highlight for us.”

Delcon Civil first partnered with the Konsky Motorsports-operated team in 2016, most recently taking victory together with Mitchell Oldenburg at the 2019 Monster Energy AUS-X Open, that year’s final round of the Australian SX2 Championship.

“The factory Honda Racing team has provided Delcon Civil with great exposure in the past and we have worked together on several charities,” said Delcon Civil managing director David Harry. “Racing provides great entertainment and showcases the type of work heavy machinery can do – the same equipment we use on site is used to build tracks.”

In addition to Mongrel Boots, Terrafirma Equipment Sales and Delcon Civil, it was also announced this week that the international team’s Muc-Off partnership will now extend from the US to Australia as part of Ben Novak and Emma Milesevic’s program.

“We have enjoyed using Muc-Off products in America; they are proven and well-respected,” Konsky stated. “Our team in Australia were keen to use them as well, so here we are now with this exciting partnership expansion. Muc-Off will be used on all of Honda’s factory race bikes and will take title-rights to the team’s MX3 and Women’s entries.”
