Organisers of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship are monitoring the situation surrounding the coronavirus outbreak ahead of its season-opener scheduled for 17 May at Hangtown.

Strict regulations and restrictions on major events imposed by state governments as already seen the remainder of Monster Energy Supercross postponed, with the outdoor series currently in evaluating it’s first move.

It’s understood the championship is conducting discussions with series partners to determine what actions might be required for currently scheduled series events.

A number of MXGP World Championship events in Europe and across the globe have been rescheduled to the end of the year, while it’s still unclear on the situation with postponed Supercross rounds.
