Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Adam Cianciarulo says he ‘wouldn’t change a thing’ in the difficult road to claiming his maiden Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross 250MX title.

Following a decorated amateur career, Cianciarulo found himself in a selection of title fights across motocross and supercross since his pro debut in 2013, however multiple injuries and untimely errors along the way have denied him of being crowned champion until this year’s outdoor series.

The number 92 rode strongly all season long, failing to put a foot wrong as he stretched out a points advantage that would allow him to clinch the crown following moto one at Ironman’s finale on Saturday.

“The road to this championship has been a journey,” said Cianciarulo. “I grew up in the Team Green program and many people had such high expectations but because of injuries, I’ve been unable to fulfill those expectations until now. I wouldn’t change a thing though.

“I have learned so much, grown as a person and appreciate this moment more than I could have imagined. I’m just so emotional thinking about this accomplishment my entire Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team and I have achieved; we have worked so hard for this and I really put my mind to it.”

The popular contender will now graduate to the premier class with Monster Energy Kawasaki in 2020.
