Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing will retain Dean Wilson for the 2020 season, extending his current deal – which originated as a fill-in role – for an additional year.

Wilson started the season out as a privateer with backing from Rockstar Energy and Husqvarna, however was later drafted into the factory squad as Jason Anderson’s replacement, the team ultimately expanding to three riders for the outdoor series.

“So stoked to announce that I will be staying with the Rockstar Husky racing team for the 2020 season,” said Wilson in a statement on social media. “Thank you everyone involved. I am very happy and grateful for another great year with these guys.”

Wilson will join Anderson and Zach Osborne as part of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s premier class line-up, with the long-time Husqvarna duo currently on multi-year deals.
