Dobson looking forward to sprint race format

Jesse Dobson press release:

Fifth in the MX1 Championship standings after two rounds, Paul Baericke’s MPE Husqvarna supported Jesse Dobson is the highest placed privateer as the MX Nationals heads to Broadford in Victoria.

For the first time this season, the FC450 mounted rider will compete in a sprint race format, where two back-to-back 8-lap races, followed by a third 16-lap will decide the days overall results.

Jesse Dobson: “Things aren’t easy being a privateer, but I’m really lucky to have some great support, and to be honest, I’m loving going racing right now. I travel to the rounds with Aiden (see butt patch) my mechanic, I race as hard and as fast as I can, while also doing my best to take care of the FC450. I’ve been able to ride with some of the faster racers in practice, and I think the sprint race format will be another benefit to me as I keep working and building up my training program as the year progresses. I believe I can have another good result at Broadford and keep battling with the lead group of Factory supported guys.”
