A list of former Australian motocross and supercross champions will strengthen this weekend’s 2-Stroke Cup line-up that will run as a support category at the Monster Energy AUS-X Open Sydney.

The class is set to see Craig Anderson (Honda) reignite his rivalry with Danny Ham (Yamaha), the duo already trading words across social media in anticipation for the one-off event.

Equipped with a KTM 250 SX, Ryan Marmont will make a return to racing inside the confines of Qudos Bank Arena after retiring from professional competition in 2014, while social media sensation Ronnie Mac (Honda) will also star in the category.

Amongst the nine-rider list is 2012 SXD champion Kale Makeham (Yamaha), along with current and former national contenders Joel Evans (Husqvarna), Taylor Potter (Honda), Justin Carafa (Yamaha) and Luke Davis (Husqvarna).

The 2-Stroke Cup is set to bring a sense of nostalgia to the prestigious AUS-X Open, bolstering the schedule that will see Best Whip and FMX Best Trick hosted during the night show, along with the SX1 and SX2 Triple Crowns.
