Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jeffrey Herling’s has lodged yet another perfect scorecard at Loket’s 14th round of the MXGP World Championship in the Czech Republic.

The Dutchman displayed the incredible form that we’ve seen from him all year, and despite missing a round, he controls the premier class by 30 points in the standings.

Teammate and reigning world champion Antonio Cairoli was runner-up on the day with a pair of seconds, while Tim Gajser (Honda HRC) closed out the podium.

The top five was completed by Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing duo Romain Febvre and Jeremy Van Horebeek, as Australian Todd Waters (Honda HRC) endured a difficult round, winding up in 20th position.

The MX2 category saw a change in points leader, with Jorge Prado (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) claiming the overall win and stealing the red-plate from teammate Pauls Jonass.

Honda HRC’s Calvin Vlaanderen was second overall on the day ahead of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Thomas Covington, while it was defending champion Jonass in fourth ahead of Thomas Kjer Olsen (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing).

On return to the world championship, Aussie contender Hunter Lawrence (114 Motorsport Honda) collected an impressive sixth place finish after recording 5-6 race results.

The next stop on the MXGP World Championship is scheduled for 5 August at Lommel in Belgium.
