It’s been revealed KTM Australia will come onboard as a major sponsor of Port Adelaide’s fourth round of the Australian Supercross Championship, scheduled for 20 October at Gillman Speedway.

The event will be organised by Troy Bayliss Events, along with the third stop at GMHBA Stadium in Geelong, as part of a newly-managed structure that sees AUS-X Open promoters AUS SX Holdings at the helm of the series.

Three-time world superbike champion Bayliss spoke of the positive response from brands both in and outside of the industry, confirming ARB 4×4 Products will join the list of partners for the third and fourth rounds.

“The motorcycle industry is really embracing the events, Yamaha was confirmed as the major sponsor to Geelong’s round three and I am pleased to announce KTM as the major sponsor for Port Adelaide round four,” said Bayliss.

“ARB are such a fitting partner – a huge percentage of dirt bike riders own four-wheel drives to tow and carry dirt bikes to trails and tracks all over the country, and having quality aftermarket products on your four-wheel drive is just as important as having aftermarket parts on your bike, be it for performance or functionality.”

Additional partners already confirmed for rounds three and four include Shannons Insurance, Motorex Oils and Lubricants, Honda Motorcycles, Unit Clothing, Husqvarna Motorcycles, Moto Expo Melbourne, Bikesales.com.au.

It’s anticipated Port Adelaide’s penultimate round will reach a capacity crowd of 5000 fans, with 25 percent of tickets already sold.
