Williams Event Management (WEM) has revealed a venue change for rounds seven and eight of the Pirelli MX Nationals, which will mark the second double-header stop of the series.

Maitland was initially slated to host the rounds in New South Wales, however due to unforeseen circumstances in also hosting a stadium cross event in conjunction with the round, WEM has elected to instead grant the heavily revamped Ranch MX venue in Raymond Terrace the opportunity conduct the double-header.

“I am excited to be taking the series to the completely new and totally revamped Ranch MX venue in Raymond Terrace,” said WEM director Kevin Williams. “Alongside Boyd Events and with the support from the Port Stephens Council, we have managed to change our venue and relocate to this amazing new one.

“I went to the new Ranch MX venue in Raymond Terrace only a few short weeks ago, and wow, was I excited to see the impressive transformation they have done – many riders who have been to the venue in the past will not recognise it and I am confident it will be a rider and crowd pleaser alike.”

The newly-appointed New South Wales venue last hosted an MX Nationals round in 2015, which marked the conclusion of a multi-year stint of the Australian motocross championship taking place at the circuit.
