Mosig and Wills looking to keep momentum in South Australia

DPH Motorsport press release:

With both Dylan Wills and Kade Mosig building momentum in recent rounds, the DPH Motorsport Husqvarna Factory racers are looking to continue their progress as they hit the halfway point of the MX Nationals.

The Murray Bridge circuit in South Australia is a rider favourite, with a flowing layout and red dirt/sand combination allowing the surface to change with preparation and racing. 2017 saw fourth place overall finishes for Mosig in MX1 and Wills in MX2, with both racers keen to get racing again.

“It’s a lot of work for the entire team to race three rounds of motocross within eight days across two states, but our sport is tough and so are our team and riders. Boyd and Jarrod have been busy checking and preparing the race bikes while Kade and Dylan have taken the time to recover from a tough weekend of racing before settling back into their race-weekend preparations for South Australia. We’re in a great position with Dylan continuing to learn and develop every time he’s on the bike and Kade’s constant drive to win. Murray Bridge marks the halfway point in the championship, and an opportunity to head into the mid-season break with momentum and confidence,” said Dale Hocking, DPH Husqvarna team owner.

Kade Mosig: “It felt great to be on the podium in Wonthaggi on a really physically demanding race weekend. I gained a lot of confidence coming through the field on Saturday too, showing that my program is working and I just need to keep my focus, put myself in good positions from the start and continue to work hard. I like Murray Bridge, and depending on how they decide to prep the track, it could become a fast, demanding race track, and I’m ready for it.”

Dylan Wills: “I feel good coming into round 5. Last weekend gave me a lot of positives, and we managed to improve on some areas that I was missing. This week, Kade and I have worked together quite a bit, both on and off the bike again, and it’s really showing in the way I’m piecing things together at the track. I rode well at Murray Bridge last year, taking a podium in one moto, so that’s my target this weekend.”

As with all 10 rounds of the MX Nationals, if you can’t get to the track this weekend, head to www.mxnationals.com.au to watch all the action via the LIVESTREAM.
