Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing has revealed Zach Osborne will remain with the outfit through to 2020 after signing a multi-year contract extension.

Osborne, who currently leads the 250SX East division of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship, is anticipated to graduate to the premier class for the 2018 Pro Motocross Championship before making a full-time transition in 2019 and beyond, however there’s speculation he’ll remain in the quarter-litre class for the remainder of the year.

“I’m very excited for the opportunity to continue this relationship with the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team,” Osborne commented. “We’ve had good successes so far and I hope to continue that through 2020, in the 450 class, and beyond. It’s a great feeling to have the best equipment and team around you in a long-term commitment, and I am lucky to have that.”

The long-time 250 contender clinched both the 250SX East AMA Supercross and 250MX Pro Motocross crowns in 2017, and is currently well on-track to successfully defending his Eastern regional title.

It was announced in January that Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing teammate Jason Anderson signed a long-term deal with the squad, extending his current contract for an additional four years.
