MX Nationals announces partnership with Kawasaki

MX Nationals press release:

Williams Event Management and the Pirelli MX Nationals, are proud to today announce the support of Kawasaki Motors Australia, and thrilled to have them on board as an official partner and presenting round sponsor in the 2018 series. Kawasaki will be the presenting partner for the first round, being held in Newry Victoria on the 15th of April.

As well as their support of the MX Nationals series, Kawasaki will also be supporting team Complete Parts Kawasaki Racing, who will field a 2-rider team consisting of,

MX1 Rhys Carter (NZ) on board KX450F # 6
28 year old, Rhys Carter hails from Mount Maunganui in New Zealand and will cross the Tasman Sea to line up in the premier MX1 class with his Kawasaki KX450F. With over 25 years of riding experience, Carter has multiple marks on his shoulder, including being selected to represent New Zealand in Motocross Des Nations and receiving an AMA Motocross Top Privateer award during his stint in United States last year.

MX2 Aaron Tanti on board KX250F # 18
Competing alongside Carter will be Aaron Tanti in the MX2 class with his KX250F. The 21 year old from Silverdale in NSW was a Junior Lites Supercross champion in 2012 and has previously represented Australia in the 2013 Czech Republic round of the Junior Motocross World titles. Aaron stepped away from racing due to injury in the 2017 Australian Supercross Championship, however he is now fighting fit and poised to make an impact in the 2018 MX Nationals.

Kawasaki will also be supporting a number of privateer riders through their dealer support programs.

MX Nationals series promoter, Kevin Williams says he’s proud to have aligned Australia’s National Motocross Championship with Kawasaki once again.

“We are very excited to have Kawasaki on board as an official sponsor and round presenting sponsor,” Williams shared.

“We have had a long and successful relationship with Kawasaki and look forward to another year of partnership,” said Williams

Kawasaki Motors Australia National Sales and Marketing Manager, Rob Walker echoed Kevin Williams’ comments and went on to say that it is an important step towards growing motocross further in Australia.

“We are pleased to be supporting Australia’s premier Motocross series and to be showcasing our brand for another season. Our largest supported team, Complete Parts Kawasaki Racing have been working hard to prepare themselves for this year’s competition and we are excited to see them kick goals at the first round!” Walker exclaimed.
