Active8 go with TCX

Link International press release:

Link International is proud to support the Active8 Yamaha Enduro Team with TCX boots for its riders, Josh Green and Wil Ruprecht.

The team members will be riding in TCX Comp Evo 2 Michelin boots, TCX’s top of the range motocross boot which features TCX’s own Molded Sole Construction Technique known as the “Michelin Sole”.

This particular construction method has a steel plate inserted into the heel area for maximum protection and the sole itself is bonded to the boot floor. Additionally, the upper is flexible and breathable with extreme levels of wear resistance and the boot is reinforced with an internal high grip zone heat guard.

“Our riders are the most important part of the team and when we approached Link International for product support they jumped at the chance,” said Active8’s Team Manager, A.J. Roberts.

“We want to keep our riders safe yet comfortable while riding and both of our guys were more than happy when told they had the opportunity to ride in TCX.

“Like all TCX boots, the Comp Evo 2 Michelin boots are really well put together, durable and comfortable, something that is especially important in enduro riding where the riders are on the bikes for long periods of time.

“Like most riders, Josh and Wil are fussy, however they both love the fit and high levels of protection offered so we’re really pleased Link could help us out with such great boots…” concluded Roberts.

Link International’s General Manager Brenden Stoeckert is enthusiastic to be supporting race teams in this way, “Link has supported hundreds of teams over the last 30 years, but this is the first year we’ve been able to offer apparel such as TCX boots. The Active8 Team is highly professional and we’re pleased to be on board with them for this year’s AORC, we feel the team and its riders will go exceptionally well, hence our support.”
