Australian icon Robbie Maddison managed to successfully complete all three days of riding his one of a kind water-bike in Darling Harbour alongside the weekend’s 2017 Sydney Motorcycle Show.

Maddison first took to the water from Cockle Bay Wharf live on the Today show early Friday morning, before conducting a pair of public demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday.

“This was the first time [riding] the bike in Cockle Bay and I wasn’t quite sure if we had enough room, but it was perfect,” Maddison recalled. “It is great to be back in Sydney and to be running the bike on the iconic harbour is just awesome. I can’t thank the Sydney Motorcycle Show and Properties NSW for making this happen.”

The FMX mainstay, who made global headlines in 2015 when he rode the waterbike on a wave near Teahupoo in Tahiti, thrilled onlookers in what was the first public outing globally of the unique water-bike concept.
