MXGP World Championship calendar updated again for 2018

Date changes announced for Valkenswaard and Valencia.

After releasing the 2018 MXGP World Championship calendar last week, Youthstream has revealed that revisions have already been made for the new season with a number of changes already in place.

Following a mutual agreement between both organisers, the 2018 dates of the MXGP of La Comunitat Valenciana in Spain at Redsand and the MXGP of Europe (The Netherlands) at Valkenswaard have been switched.

The changes will see MXGP of Europe now hosted on 18 March, while the MXGP of La Comunitat Valenciana will take place on 25 March.

In addition, Youthstream reconfirmed that the MXGP of Russia will be held on Tuesday, 1 May 2018. The date known as May Day and Labor Day is widely celebrated throughout Russia and since 1992, the bank holiday has officially been called ‘The Day of Spring and Labor’. With the important national holiday. many spectators are foreseen along with additional celebrations onsite.
