Lance Russell re-signs with Kawasaki to showcase 2018 KX450F

Kawasaki Motors Australia press release:

Australian Freestyle Motocross (FMX) Icon, Lance Russell will continue to be backed by Kawasaki Motors Australia with the support of Sydney based Kawasaki dealership, MotoHUB Motorcycles and Accessories.

Over the years Lance Russell has defied his audience with breathtaking stunts, becoming one of the most prominent personalities in the Australian FMX scene. This year he will continue to perform remarkable tricks aboard the lightning fast and ultra-light 2018 Kawasaki KX450F.

“I’m thrilled to be continuing my partnership with Kawasaki Motors Australia and it’s fantastic to have a local dealership in the Sydney area on board to help me out with servicing etc. for my KX450F,’ Lance said.

Lance Russell’s local Kawasaki dealership, MotoHUB Motorcycles and Accessories in Castle Hill NSW will be providing assistance for the 27 year old FMX rider who has been a Kawasaki supported rider and ambassador since 2013.

“The MotoHUB team have already been really helpful and friendly, they are very enthusiastic and eager to assist where they can. The dealership is in a great location so it will be easy to work with them and I’m excited to start building a relationship,” Lance explained.

MotoHUB Motorcycles and Accessories were recently recognised by Kawasaki Motors Australia as an Elite NSW Dealership thanks to their overall success including the ability to provide an enjoyable Kawasaki customer experience. The Kawasaki dealership is also well known for their support of local racers and motorcycle riding groups.

Business Manager, Ryan Santoso said, “The team at MotoHUB had the pleasure of meeting Lance Russell when he collected his brand new 2018 KX450F. We are honoured to partner up with Lance as he has such a humble personality and he is a sensational FMX rider. We look forward to assisting Lance with his Kawasaki KX450F and other needs.”

Lance built his FMX profile by performing unique and self-invented tricks, becoming the first person in Australia to perform a Rodova and becoming the first person in the world to perform a Sodova-stripper, sideways! The playable character on the popular MX vs ATV video game also makes up one half of the Russell Brothers Films production company.

After his first ride on the brand new 2018 KX450F, Lance said, “The feel of the KX450F is unmatched. The major overhaul in the 2016 model blew me away and the 2018 is better yet.”

“It is the only bike I feel comfortable on. It handles amazingly and the all-round comfort is second to none so it’s perfectly suited for me. It launches right, fly’s right and everything just feels right!” exclaimed Lance.

Lance will be involved in most of the significant Australian freestyle events this year and to stay up to date on his FMX activities, keep an eye on his social media pages.
