Peters set to fly the Wilson Coolair Motul Factory Suzuki flag at Shepparton

Wilson Coolair Motul Factory Suzuki press release:

Wilson Coolair Motul Factory Suzuki’s Kyle Peters is preparing for the seventh instalment of the Motul MX Nationals being held at Shepparton in Victoria this Sunday, and following what was a difficult event at Nowra, is determined to turn things around.

American Peters has been yet to reach his full potential throughout the opening six rounds of this year’s championship, but will be heading to Shepparton with one goal, to put his Factory Suzuki RM-Z450 where it belongs – on the top step of the MX1 podium.

Peters currently sits in seventh in the MX1 championship standings with four rounds remaining, and shared that from this weekend at Shepparton, every outing until the end of the season is about maximising points.

“Since I’ve been in Australia I’ve spent the majority of my time down in Victoria, so I’m used to the weather here and I like the cold, so Shepparton should be good for me,” Peters said.

“In terms of the championship, we can’t change what has happened, so for me the goal moving forward is just to maximise points every weekend.

“Every time I get on the track I want to win, so I’m going to Shepparton with the same attitude – I am determined to finish this season on a high so I can’t wait to get after it on Sunday.”

The 2017 Motul MX Nationals will continue with round seven to be contested at Shepparton in Victoria on Sunday, July 16. Visit www.mxnationals.com.au for further information on the series.
