Ricky Latimer (Yamaha) – MX2, fourth overall:
It was almost a maiden podium performance for Latimer in Victoria as he put together two solid moto performances in the MX2 category. Aboard his Yamaha YZ250F, Latimer brought it home in fifth-place in the opening moto, setting the stage for a season-best result from the start. His fifth in moto one was then backed up by an impressive third in moto two placing him fourth overall and just two points off the overall podium.

Joel Green (KTM) – MX1, 11th overall:
Green continues to improve in his 2017 Motul MX Nationals MX1 campaign four rounds into the 10-round schedule. With 16th, 15th and 13th-place finishes leading into the Horsham round, it had been a steady improvement for the KTM rider and he continued that trend in the mud. Green finished the day with a solid 11th-place overall finish to mark his best overall spot of the season and a promising sign of improved results to follow.
