Toby Price and Oakley will join forces in 2017 as the former Dakar Rally champion prepares to make his return to racing on 9-12 June at the upcoming Finke Desert Race.

After bowing out of the 2017 Dakar Rally due to a broken femur, the Australian off-road ace is set to return to action in the all-new Oakley Frontline goggle featuring Prizm MX lens technology.

Excited for his future with the renowned goggle manufacturer, Price looks forward to putting Oakley’s latest technology to the ultimate test as he races through some of the toughest terrain on the yearly off-road schedule worldwide.

“I’m over the mood to join the Oakley family,” said Price. “I’m really looking forward to partnering with them and getting back out on the bike. I can’t wait to put their Prizm lenses to the test in some of the toughest elements around the globe.”

Not yet satisfied with his Dakar Rally achievements, the first Australian winner of the event plans to shoot for another victory in 2018 with the added support of the Oakley brand.

“Oakley is a brand I’ve followed and looked up to for a long time, I can’t wait for the future ahead,” he added. “Hopefully with their support I can win another Dakar crown.”

Making his offical racing debut with Oakley at the Finke event, Price will attempt to become the winningest rider at the iconic off-road race with five wins already to his name.
