Wilson Coolair Motul Suzuki has confirmed that star 2017 signing Kyle Peters is scheduled to arrive in Australia next week, following this weekend’s Toronto round of Monster Energy AMA Supercross.

Peters has been filling in with the Autotrader/Suzuki/JGRMX team during the opening rounds of the East Coast 250SX series, but remains committed to fulfilling his agreement with the Australian factory Suzuki outfit.

JGRMX has been struck with injuries during the opening half of American Supercross, calling upon North Carolina native Peters to stand-in for Matt Bisceglia prior to departing for Australia. It’s anticipated Peters will be in title contention after proving a revelation in the final rounds of last season with Kawasaki – scoring Super Pole and winning a moto on debut at Toowoomba.

“Kyle has been given permission to do Toronto, which is the last round he’ll do,” team manager Neale Wilson told MotoOnline.com.au. “This is the final weekend he will do and he has been given approval by Suzuki Australia and the team. He’s 100 percent coming and we’re expecting him to arrive on Wednesday, straight into testing and development.”

Peters’ first official appearance with Wilson Coolair Motul Suzuki is slated for Toowoomba’s Mountain Man Motocross event on 11-12 March, before spending the month preparing for the opening round of the 2017 Motul MX Nationals at Wonthaggi, Victoria, on 2 April.
