International EnduroCross/SuperEnduro front-runner Cody Webb has been announced as a late addition to line up at the 2017 New Holland Super Enduro-X, powered by Monster Energy, during the Clipsal 500 Adelaide V8 Supercars event on 2-5 March.

Holding both the 2014 and 2015 American EnduroCross crowns, before finishing runner-up to Husqvarna’s Colton Haaker in 2016, the factory KTM contender is set to make his first appearance at the unique hybrid event.

“I’m super-excited to come to Australia for the first time and be able to race the Clipsal 500 Super Enduro-X,” said world number two Webb. “I was bummed to miss the event last year, but glad I was able to fit it into my schedule. Thanks to KTM Australia for getting me dialled in with a bike and I can’t wait for the racing to begin! I know there will be stiff competition, but I’m ready to give it my all.”

The news of Webb’s addition to the 2017 rider roster comes as last year’s inaugural Enduro-X winner Mitch Harper has announced he will not defend his crown in 2017 due to a leg injury sustained late last year.
