Kawasaki Motors Corporation (USA) has announced a partnership extension with Ryan Villopoto that will see the pair continue to work together in the new year.

Villopoto, who recently came out of retirement to contest the AUS-X Open in Sydney, has been with the manufacturer since he was 14 years of age, collecting a total of 10 AMA supercross and motocross championships in the process.

The former champion is pleased to extend his association with Kawasaki, stating the company is like family after spending his entire professional career with the brand.

“It means a lot to me to be able to continue working with Kawasaki,” shared Villopoto. “I’ve been with them for a long time and being around everyone is like being with family. Now that my racing career is over I’ve been able to go out and ride other Kawasaki products and I can’t wait to get on some dual-sport rides and on the new stand-up Jet Ski next spring.”

Villopoto’s role with Kawasaki will see him express his passion for Kawasaki’s racing programs and products through his own social media channels and at select events, while he will also feature in several ‘Science of Supercross’ segments in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross television broadcast.
