Review: 2017 100% iTrack gloves

We ride with the minimalist 100% iTrack gloves during recent tests.

Motocross gloves have evolved over the years and gone through many phases, and the current trend of minimalistic design is definitely taking over. Is that a good thing? For me, yes, it certainly is a good thing. Your hands do a whole lot of work while riding a motocross bike and you want them to be as comfortable as possible. Please allow me to introduce you to one very simple and comfortable piece of hand wear, the 2017 100% iTrack glove.

Using ultra-light materials, fused with the simplistic design top riders today expect from a premium product, the iTrack glove is designed to provide maximum comfort, durability and minimal distractions – complete connectivity is the name of the game here. In saying that, this doesn’t mean the graphics can’t stand out from the crowd.

Provided with the Paradise Blue colour way for testing, I was instantly impressed with the look of these gloves. Maybe it’s the contrast between such a simple high-end glove and the slightly wild graphics that win me over. Whatever it is, I’m personally a huge fan of this colour way and they definitely look rad with any gear set you choose.

Using a perforated single layer clarino palm, the iTrack glove offers maximum comfort and reduces bunching. You can’t go past the single layer construction when it comes to a motocross glove, the lack of bunching and enhanced control feel is unbeatable in my eyes. If you’re currently riding with a dual layer palm glove, I urge you to try out a single layer setup such as the iTrack from 100%.

To enhance palm and lever traction, the 2017 iTrack glove from 100% features silicon printed palm graphics. These not only add vital traction, but they also add to the overall aesthetics of the glove. Another awesome feature is the integrated tech-thread, this allows you to continue to use your smart phone at the track with your gloves on. If you’re into shooting ‘instabangers’ with your mates, you’ll love this feature.

To improve both fit and air-flow, the 2017 iTrack glove also features a polymesh backhand and adding to mobility and moisture wicking, the trek-dry finger gussets are also featured for 2017. These additions perfectly cap off the light, flexible and ventilated feel of these gloves, making them a truly high-performance piece of hand protection.

If you’re a huge fan of simple yet feature-packed gloves, the 2017 100% iTrack glove is the product for you. It performs great, features all of the essentials needed and looks awesome doing so. Coming in at a recommended retail price of just $37.95, be sure to head to your local 100% dealer to try a pair of these on. For more information head to www.serco.com.au.
