KTM pumps up the fun factor

KTM Australia press release:

KTM is the manufacturer famous for being Ready to Race, and although busting a gut trying to win is our usual idea of fun – even the most competitive among us needs a little play time, and there’s no better bike on earth for maximising the Fun Factor than a KTM Freeride 350.

Feel like trickling around in a rocky gully, practicing your skills with some stoppies and wheelies, or maybe picking your way up a hill so steep a mountain goat would need to get off and push? Why not take off on a nice singletrack trailride that combines all three?

Only riders who are game enough to steer away from convention ever experience the unique Fun Factor of a KTM Freeride 350 – be they beginners enjoying the smooth low-end power, or experienced riders milking the super responsive engine and handling performance.

And right now there’s never been a better time to squeeze a KTM 350 Freeride into your stable.

For a limited time, purchase a new MY16 KTM Freeride 350, and you will get $750 slapped straight back in your sweaty riding glove.

That’s a lot of reward for a heap of bike. But don’t take our word for it, listen to Ben Grabham – Aussie enduro champion, Finke legend, Dakar Rally finisher and Manager of the KTM Enduro Racing Team.

Ever since he first tried one, Grabham has kept a Freeride in his garage. He even raced one in the Perth Enduro-X, and bested all the ‘serious race bikes’, including the one underneath wily veteran Glenn Kearney, to win:
“The harder the ground you throw at it,” says Grabham, “the more it excels over a traditional enduro bike. And when I’m unfit, recovering from an injury, or just wanting a cruisy ride, it’s always been my bike of choice. Last year I took mine to the Sunny Corner Trail Bike Rally, and it was pretty cool.

“I don’t class myself as a big person either, so I love the fact that it’s quite a narrow, compact bike to ride, but it’s still got good ground clearance.

“There is no doubt that it improved my riding in technical conditions,” he continues, “it taught me that I can push the limits a lot more in places where you’d be a bit more cautious on the normal enduro bike, but after spending more time on the Freeride, I feel I can do it quite easily on an enduro bike and go even more extreme.

“Some guys get the wrong impression by looking at it, but believe me, it’s one of those bikes you have to ride to understand how much fun it is, and how it can actually make you a better rider.”

Discover the unique KTM Freeride 350 Fun Factor for yourself – and get $750 straight back, but be remember, this offer is for a limited time only though, so you’ll need to be quick.
