The Maxxis FIM Enduro World Championship will expand to a nine-round series next year following the recent announcement of the 2017 calendar.

The championship will commence on the final weekend of March in Finland before heading to Spain and Italy for rounds two and three. Hungary will host round four, followed by Slovakia, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Argentina and finishing up in Germany at the tail end of October.

Finland’s season opener is set to be staged throughout its winter, which could potentially see a snow round could kick off the series. Hawkstone Park’s seventh round in the UK will hold an all-new enduro sprint format on Saturday, followed by a grand national cross-country format on Sunday. The alternative rounds will remain with the regular format.
