Bike: 2017 Honda CRF250R

2017 Honda CRF250R available in Australia this month.

The Honda CRF250R has long been a weapon of choice for motocross riders due to its fluid power delivery, sharp chassis design and impressive power in the high rev range.

The 2017 model adapts lightweight suspension developed by Showa particularly for the CRF250R, and is designed to fully unlock the chassis’ performance potential to ensure an ultimate riding experience.

Equipped with 49mm Showa SFF TAC Air forks, an extra 5mm length in the top tubes has been added to enhance traction, suspension reaction, rider feel and adjustability.

The CRF250R’s aluminium twin beam frame is in its sixth generation and was designed from the outset around the use of air forks with mass centralisation at its core. It’s renowned profile remains unchanged for 2017.

Usability is increased by Honda’s Engine Mode Select Button (EMSB), which allows the rider to choose between three engine maps designed for different riding conditions and styles, assisting in making an already usable engine even more adaptable.

The 2017 Honda CRF25OR is scheduled to arrive in Australia this month at a recommended retail price of $9,999. Visit www.hondamotorcycles.com.au for further details or to locate your nearest dealer.
