MX Sports and NBC announce 2017 Pro Motocross calendar

Next season's 12-round schedule officially confirmed.

MX Sports Pro Racing and NBC Sports have revealed next year’s schedule for the 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing.

The championship will remain as a 12-round series that will be held throughout the American summer, with Hangtown’s season opener pencilled in for 20 May.

The 2017 calendar hasn’t received any additional locations, continuing to remain at the same venues that provided a successful series this year. Three breaks have been scheduled over the 12 rounds, allowing riders to regroup as the season progresses.

Rd7 – 8 July – Southwick National
Rd8 – 22 July – Spring Creek National
Rd9 – 29 July – Washougal National
Rd10 – 12 August – Unadilla National
Rd11 – 19 August – Budds Creek National
Rd12 – 26 August – Ironman National
