Yarrive Konsky’s Honda Genuine Racing team has confirmed Adam Enticknap will complete their 450 roster for the 2016 Australian Supercross Championship.

The likeable US privateer contested the opening rounds of the 2016 AMA Supercross Championship, placing as high as 15th before a broken femur forced him to be sidelined for the remainder of the season.

“Breaking my leg this year set me back,” Enticknap explained. “I have been focused on my recovery and I feel I am in good shape to come out and race in Australia. I live to ride and I want my fans to know that racing is something I am dedicated to.”

Team manager Steve Powell is eager for the American to join the squad and recognises his prior experience as a beneficial factor in being a title contender.

“To make the main in America is a creditable feat and he has achieved that many times,” Powell stated. “Adam provides mutual benefits to the team. He will be competitive on the track and well received of it.”

Enticknap will head the team’s SX1 championship assault alongside American counterpart Justin Brayton, while the team will also field three SX2 riders in a unique arrangement that will see Jimmy Decotis (US) race under the Honda Genuine flag, while Gavin Faith (US) and Australian Josh Cachia will sport Penrite Honda liveries.

The 2016 Australian Supercross Championship is scheduled to commence next weekend on Saturday, 17 September, at Jimboomba in Queensland.
