The 2016 Shannons Insurance Manjimup 15,000 set to take place at the iconic Cosy Creek circuit in Western Australia on 3-5 June, is set to feature a star-studded line up.

Defending Australian motocross champion Kirk Gibbs will headline an all-star field as he attempts to win the prestigious event for the third year in a row.

“It’s a fun race and a little bit more laid back for me,” said Gibbs. “We love seeing all of the fans – they really love to watch good racing. It will be a little bit harder this year with a few more faster guys, but I will try my best to make it three in-a-row.”

“It’s exciting riding such an amazing track – I’ve watched videos of the motocross of nations there and walked through the clubrooms – it is so cool to be able to ride the track.”

The field will also include Gibbs’ TM Motocross Racing teammates Jesse Dobson and Caleb Ward, plus former MXGP contenders and current MX Nationals heavyweights Dean Ferris and Todd Waters.

In previous years the Manjimup 15,000 has attracted riders from all around the world, and the 2016 edition will be no different as British rider Jamie Law leads the international charge along with Belgium’s Michael Velkeneers and American Nicholas Schmidt.

In addition to the world-class line up, local WA riders and MX Nationals regulars Connor Tierney and Dean Porter have also confirmed their entry.
