Husqvarna’s 2017 motocross models will be released for the first time in Australia with air forks, yesterday’s announcement unveiling the new MY17 range has revealed.

The MY17 Husqvarnas, due for a June release worldwide according to the announcement, feature latest WP’s AER 48 air fork, which will be released on the local models for the new season.

Husqvarna and parent company KTM’s 2016 models were released with air forks in Europe for this year with success, however Australian and US models were fitted with the WP 4CS option.

While the Husqvarnas were released overnight internationally, KTM’s full unveil isn’t due until mid-next week according to sources within the company. It’s expected they too will come standard with AER 48s.

Australia did receive a WP air fork on the current KTM Factory Edition models released this year, which was received well locally and opened the door to introduce the updated product on a broader scale for 2017.
