Motorcycling Australia in conjunction with the Mansfield Shire Council have announced revised dates for the 2016 Yamaha Australian Four Day Enduro (A4DE), which will now be held from 14-19 November in Mansfield, Victoria.

The A4DE event organisers and the Mansfield Shire council have been working closely with Motorcycling Australia to reschedule the event and the revised dates will ensure that all permits and requirements are in place before it kicks off.

Off-road co-ordinator at Motorcycling Australia, Matthew Falvo, has been working hard behind the scenes with the Yamaha A4DE event organisers, as well as the local council.

“It has been great to be able to work with a strong team of people to put together an off-road event as big as the Yamaha A4DE in Australia,” he said. The revised dates, for later this year ensure that we can provide all competitors, spectators and officials involved with a fantastic event, that has been well organised, as well as fulfil all of the requirements needed for the smooth running of the A4DE.

“Being able to work closely with the council will ensure all of the permits and approvals are in place, and we’ll continue working with the council throughout this year in the lead up to the event in November.”

According to Mansfield Shire Council Mayor Cr Paul Sladdin, the revised A4DE date is a great fit with their aim to provide a year-round calender of events in the region.

“Council is pleased to be working with Motorcycling Australia and the event organisers to help deliver the event in November,” said Sladdin. “This is a good fit with our strategy, which promotes a year-round calendar of events and activities in this popular tourism and holiday destination.”

More information on the 2016 Yamaha Australian Four Day Enduro will be released throughout the remainder of the year, and leading up to the event in November.
