Rockwell to keep the Motul MX Nationals clock ticking in 2016

MX Nationals press release:

With the days, hours, and minutes ticking down to when the gates drop for the first time this year at Round 1 of the Motul MX Nationals in Horsham this weekend, it’s a fitting time to announce Rockwell as the official timekeeper for 2016.

Rockwell’s support of the Motul MX Nationals in 2016, will see riders head to the official ‘Rockwell Launch Area’ prior to each race, and will also include another exciting initiative called the ‘Rockwell Gold Rush’.

Paul Everest, Rockwell’s Brand Director today spoke about the newly formed partnership with the MX Nationals, and says that with time ticking away to round one, that the series is the perfect fit for Rockwell.

“We are thrilled to be the Official Timekeeper of the 2016 MX Nationals,” he said.

“Being highly focused on the action sports industry, Rockwell could not have found a better partner to be associated with this year.

“Motocross makes up a huge proportion of our fan base and we look forward to connecting with everyone at each round this year.”

As well as being the official time keeper, Rockwell will also launch an MX2 initiative in partnership with the Motul MX Nationals, being the ‘Rockwell Gold Rush’ – which will see each MX2 competitor’s qualifying time from each round, combined to determine the lowest qualifying time for the year, with the winner awarded a limited edition gold Rockwell watch.

Motul MX Nationals Series Promoter Kevin Williams today explained the ‘Rockwell Gold Rush’ incentive, and shared that despite only being less than a week out from round one, there are a number of other exciting MX Nationals announcements still to be made.

“It’s very exciting to confirm Rockwell’s support of the MX Nationals, and to have a newly branded launch area, as well as a great MX2 incentive for 2016,” he said.

“Rockwell has a great action sports following and their brand is a great fit for our series.

“The Motul MX2 class will now also have extra incentive throughout their qualifying sessions of the entire year, with the Rockwell Gold Rush award being given to the rider with the lowest qualifying time when each recorded time is combined at each round.

“It’s fantastic to think that even with less than five days until we get to round one, that we are still announcing exciting initiatives and new partnerships with major brands. It’s shaping up to be one seriously fantastic year of racing.”
