Ryan Dungey’s third place Monster Energy AMA Supercross 450SX main event podium finish in Toronto marked a major milestone in the multi-time champions career.

With a third place finish, the Red Bull KTM rider claimed the sport’s all-time record for a podium finish streak with 26 consecutive trips to the winners circle.

His 26th consecutive podium finish in Canada also marked his 10th in a row this season, the defending premier class champion maintaining his championship lead after finish behind winner Ken Roczen and teammate Marvin Musquin.

“Overall it was a good night,” Dungey said. “The track was tough tonight and I was pushing really hard trying to catch Ken and I slid out. I just have to keep plugging away, that’s what we’re going for.”

In addition to his podium streak record, Dungey now holds the all-time record for career podium finishes with 82, snatching the title away from Australia’s Chad Reed who sits on 81 career podiums.
