DPH duo gain championship points in Wayville

DPH Peter Stevens Yamaha press release:

A week of consistent racing has resulted in the DPH duo gaining more crucial championship points at Round 3 of the Australian Supercross Championship in Wayville, South Australia.

Lawson went into Round 3 focusing on his health and fitness and it was evident in his racing. He was a stand out during qualifying, taking the P2 position and headed into the main race as a top contender for a top 3 finish.

“Round 3 was a much better day for me. I rode much better this weekend, which I am happy about. I had a small tip over early in the main but before that I was running in the top 3. Overall it was a good event, awesome dirt, good track and a lot of atmosphere” said Bopping.

Coming off a high of third place inJimboomba, Wade went into Round 3 cool, calm and confident. Wade comfortably secured P4 in qualifying but unfortunately got caught up in a number of crashes in the main event.

“I’m disappointed with my weekend. I feel like I had good speed all day and then got caught up in three different crashes on the first lap. I then got back to 6th but jumped off the track with two laps to go and lost a few spot” said Hunter.

DPH Motorsports continue their assault on the Jimboomba, QLD, on November 21st.
