Daniel McCoy (SFC Racing Yamaha) – SX1, seventh overall:
Longtime premier class campaigner Daniel McCoy has been chipping away inside the top 10 of the SX1 class this season and backed up his form with seventh at round three. A top five finish isn’t out of the question before the year’s out and, in terms of the points, he’s now sixth in the championship standings.

Dylan Wills (KTM Newcastle) – SX2, fourth overall:
After winning the SXD title last year, effectively putting himself on the map in the process, Dylan Wills had his best SX2 result yet in Adelaide with fourth. Despite limited bike time in the lead-up, Wills came out firing with the heat race win and was just outside the podium in the main.

Joel Wightman (CRF Honda Racing) – SX2, sixth overall:
Finishing sixth in the talent-packed SX2 field was a major breakthrough for Joel Wightman after finishing the opening rounds in 14th (Bathurst) and 16th (Jimboomba). It’s the type of ride that helps up and coming racers believe they belong toward the front and, as a result, we can expect more to come in remaining rounds.
