Verdict:
Adelaide couldn’t have gone much – if at all – better for Dan Reardon, debuting the red plates for CDR Yamaha and going on to win both heat races, plus the main. The action was tight, however Reardon placed himself in the right positions when it counted and managed to extend his advantage at the top of the points table. A key factor from round three was that Brett Metcalfe, in a one-off appearance, placed himself between the two title contenders Reardon and Matt Moss on the podium – working to Reardon’s favour at the mid-point of the season. Still, a fighting third for Moss keeps him well and truly in the title race, while there were a number of other riders displaying speed including Reardon’s teammate Kade Mosig. With a number of riders sidelined as we speak, all the class is really lacking now is pure depth.

Verdict:
American Jimmy Decotis made it three wins in a row at Wayville to increase his championship lead following round three. He’s been the dominant rider in the series to date and will be difficult to beat from this point, however both Luke Clout and Jackson Richardson both took home a strong haul of points on Saturday night by standing alongside him on the podium. It was also a positive night for Dylan Wills with a heat race win and fourth in the final, while South Australian local Luke Arbon brought home his Husqvarna in fifth for another positive performance. Also take note of Joel Wightman in sixth, ahead of some more experienced and accomplished names.
