Suzuki Europe’s factory MX2 World Championship team will field Jeremy Seewer and Brian Hsu in the 2016 title chase, on board the heavily updated latest generation RM-Z250.

Swiss charger Seewer has already commenced testing in preparation for next season, set for his third MX2 grand prix campaign with Suzuki after finishing fifth in this year’s standings.

Hsu meanwhile made his grand prix debut in August at Mantova and immediately caught the eye with speed that elevated him into the top 10. After winning European and world championships on his RM125 in 2014, the teenager rode the RM-Z250 in 2015 and celebrated two EMX250 podiums before claiming an impressive moto victory in Latvia.

After being groomed by Suzuki for the last half a decade, Hsu is preparing for his first year as part of the MX2 field and will commence his rookie season from round six due to his fulltime education commitments.

Suzuki will also field 17-year-old Dutchman Bas Vaessen in the popular European EMX250 Championship, widely regarded as the final stepping stone to the FIM Motocross World Championship.
