Penrite Honda Racing’s Jimmy Decotis will aim for three consecutive SX2 class main event wins when the Energy Logistix-backed round three of the 2015 Australian Supercross Championship continues at Adelaide Showground.

The 24-year-old, supported directly by Honda Genuine Parts and Accessories, came straight out and won the opening SX2 round at Bathurst, NSW, and backed up a week later in round two at Jimboomba, Queensland.

“I want to win, that’s the goal,” Decotis said. “Obviously a podium would be a great result too, but so long as I can keep the championship lead and ride like I know I can for the full 15 laps in the main I will be happy.”

Decotis now leads the SX2 standings by a handy 10 points over Aussies Jackson Richardson (Penrite Honda Wilson MX) and Luke Clout (Serco Yamaha), who are tied for second.

“It’s been a really great start to the championship,” he continued. “All the crew at Honda and the Penrite Honda team have done a great job of taking care of us, and have put together a great package that is really letting me get the job done.”
