A fourth A4DE crown is within the grasp of CDR Yamaha’s Daniel Milner after yet another polished performance on day three of the 2015 Yamaha Australian Four Day Enduro in Wynyard, Tasmania, on Friday.

On a day where all six class leaders maintained their status on top of their respective standings from the day before, Milner took a step closer to writing himself into the record books with another fantastic day of riding.

Beginning the day with a 27-second advantage, Milner took the honours in five of the six special tests to end the day with an Outright lead of a minute and 13 seconds ahead of KTM Enduro Racing Team’s Matthew Phillips.

The Tasmanian still maintains his lead in the E3 class over KTM stablemates Daniel Sanders and Toby Price who sit in third and fourth respectively overall. After a couple of down days, Price was the only rider to take a special test win off Milner for the day.

Active8 Yamaha’s Josh Green slipped back one spot in the Outright standings to fifth, but still put in a good enough performance to extend his lead in the E1 class ahead of Tye Simmonds (KTM Enduro Racing Team, eighth overall), who like Price managed to jump two spots within the Outright top 10.

The remaining classes followed a familiar trend, with Tayla Jones (Women’s), Damian Smith (Veterans) and David Fleming (Masters) all strengthening their positions at the top.

Yamaha Racing’s Jones now leads the classification by two minutes and 13 seconds over Sherco Ballards Motorex Off-Road Team’s Jess Gardiner, while their fellow world champion teammate Jemma Wilson (Yamaha Racing) sits in third.

Smith has all but wrapped up the Veterans with a nine and half minute lead heading into the final day, while the Masters title looks set to head the way of David Fleming thanks to his five and a half minute lead.

Riders will now complete an eight lap moto at Blackwood Park in Penguin on the final day to wind up the 2015 Yamaha Australian Four Day Enduro.
