AUS-X Open partners with Monster Energy for ultimate party atmosphere

AUS-X Open press release:

Partying at the Australian Open of Supercross (AUS-X Open) just kicked up a gear with the announcement of Monster Energy as the Naming Partner to the FMX ‘Best Trick’ International component and freshly announced Monster Energy Pit Party.

The partnership with Monster Energy offers fans free entry to the paddock area where DJs, merchandise, product samples and of course the Monster Energy girls will set the scene for the Monster Energy Pit Party.

The Monster Energy Pit Party will accompany the insane track action providing fans with the ultimate experience at the AUS-X Open at Allphones Arena on November 28-29.

“Monster Energy is synonymous with action sports across the globe and we’re excited to partner with the world’s leading energy drink to inject a massive party vibe into the AUS-X Open on November 28-29,” said Event Director Adam Bailey.

“The Monster Energy Pit Party will form the perfect partner to pump the event up to the highest level as the world’s best riders battle it out for Supercross supremacy and for the crown of Monster Energy FMX ‘Best Trick’ champion.”

The Monster Energy FMX ‘Best Trick’ gives riders just one jump each to attempt the biggest, most technical and most challenging stunt of their careers. To win, it will take landing something that has never been seen before.

“Best Trick has always been one of the most high pressure, crazy situations. You get that one jump, that one trick and a lot of the time your trying the hardest trick you can, that you have only done into a foam pit,” said former X Games Gold Medalist Blake Williams.

Recently announced Australian superstar Jackson Strong will be joined by French riders Thomas Pagès and David Rinaldo, Japan’s Taka Higashino, Libor Podmol of the Czech Republic and fellow Aussie Rob Adelberg as they prepare to launch themselves into the history books and attempt stunts previously thought impossible.

After a complete sell out, an additional matinee AUS-X Open event was announced for Sunday November 29. A complete replica of night one, this second opportunity offers fans who missed out, the chance of a lifetime to see the world’s best Supercross and FMX athletes go head to head in one of Australia’s premier venues.

With over 6,000 fans travelling from interstate to attend the AUS-X Open event, a partnership has also been formed with airline Virgin Australia. Travellers can save 10% on their flights to Sydney, by booking via the portal on the AUS-X Open website home page.

“The AUS-X Open has been secured for Sydney by the NSW Government, through its tourism and major events agency Destination NSW.”
