Madden geared up for home round appearance at Jimboomba

Raceline Pirelli Suzuki press release:

Raceline Pirelli Suzuki will have their second supercross hit out this weekend in Queensland, as the Australian Supercross Championship heads to Jimboomba for an action packed round two.

With an encouraging opening round just a week ago already in the books, Jesse Madden will head to Jimboomba with the confidence required to get down to business once again in the competitive SX2 class.

Madden, who resides in Queensland, shared his excitement in having round two back in his home state, and say’s he’s looking forward to backing up the form he showcased at Bathurst.

“I cannot wait to race on home soil this weekend. I managed to get most of the nerves about racing the SX2 class out of the way last weekend, so I know where I’m at now,” he said. “Scott Bannan has put a huge effort in to getting the track ready at Jimboomba, and I just cannot wait to get back out there.

“Last weekend was a step in the right direction, and the team have done an awesome job getting the bike ready and comfortable for me. “Hopefully I can have a bit more luck this weekend, and put on a good show for my home crowd.”

Raceline Pirelli Suzuki Team Manager Chris Woods, also said he’s looking forward to seeing what Jesse has got this weekend, and says he’s confident the team can step things up once again.

“Jesse has had a good week on the bike, and he’s got a bit of a home-round advantage this weekend so it should be a good round for us,” he said. “The Raceline team is working very well together, and we have the best machinery in the business to work with, so we’re happy campers at the moment that’s for sure.

“After what we saw with Jesse last weekend, I think it’s just a matter of time before we see him running up the front – he’s finding his feet, and we’re impressed with how he’s performing. “With the support of family and friends at round two, I’m looking forward to seeing how things end up on Saturday night.”

The Raceline Pirelli Suzuki Team will now head to Jimboomba on October 17 for round 2 of the Australian Supercross Championship. To stay updated with all team progress, ‘like’ Raceline on Facebook, follow their Instagram via Raceline_motosport or on Twiter via Raceline_
