Organisers of round two of the 2015 Australian Supercross Championship have partnered with NRGTV to broadcast Jimboomba’s second round of the season at X Stadium this Saturday, 17 October.

This follows the successful trial of the NRGTV service at last weekend’s opening round of the 2015 Australian Supercross Championship at Bathurst, New South Wales.

Fans will now be able to take in all the action of the heats and finals racing at the Jimboomba championship round by viewing the Livestream or On Demand broadcasts available on the www.nrgtv.com.au website. It will also be embedded on MotoOnline.com.au.

Further, the broadcast will also be taken by America’s www.racertv.com website, giving round two of the 2015 Australian Supercross Championship a truly global audience.

“Working with the team from NRGTV is another piece of the package to make the Jimboomba supercross an event to remember, not just for the fans at the track on the night, but for fans right around Australia and right around the world,” said Scott Bannan, promoter of the Jimboomba X Stadium round of the Australian Supercross Championship.

“Live coverage that is free to view online via the NRGTV website will be a massive boost for our event, not just for the riders on the night and the sponsors of the Jimboomba round of the championship, but the sport as a whole.”

The Livestream broadcast kicks off from 7:00pm Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time and will include all championship races, from the opening heats right through to the all-important finals.

“We’re rapt to get the green light to take the 2015 Australian Supercross Championship action to fans everywhere,” commented NRGTV producer Aiden Williams. “We’ll be following the action at Jimboomba X Stadium with a five camera crew, so we should have all the angles covered.

“The broadcast will start with a 30-minute panel show detailing all the latest supercross news and behind the scenes happenings, then we will be going live with all the evening’s Australian supercross championship racing.

“For NRGTV this a fabulous opportunity to continue all the work we’ve done with broadcasting the MX Nationals this year and only further extend the reach of Australian motorcycle sport to fans all around the world.”

With GoPro the major sponsor of the Jimboomba round of the 2015 Australian Supercross Championship, it is only fitting that a feature of the NRGTV broadcast will see a lead rider fitted with a GoPro camera to take the audience on an exclusive rider’s eye view lap of the US-style Jimboomba X Stadium circuit.

Gates open at the Jimboomba X Stadium track at 2:00pm, a meet the riders pit party will be held from 4:00pm, while all the on-track action kicks off at 5:00pm. Tickets to the Jimboomba event are on sale now via the www.e-ticket.com.au website.
