Strong start for Australians on ISDE day one

World, Junior and Women's teams shine in Slovakia.

Team Australia has starred on the opening day of the 2015 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Kosice, Slovakia, currently second in the World Trophy while leading the Junior and Women’s.

The World Trophy team was led by Daniel Milner alongside E3 World Champion Matthew Phillips, Josh Green, Lachlan Stanford, Glenn Kearney and Beau Ralston.

They’re currently in second overall, 1m14.17s behind Team USA, while individually Milner is second and Phillips fourth in E2, Stanford leading E3 and Green fifth in E1.

Australia’s Junior team saw Daniel Sanders take a leading role with second in E3 overall, alongside Tye Simmonds, Broc Grabham and Tom Mason. They sit 3m06.70s ahead of Sweden after the opening day of action.

The champion Women’s team of Tayla Jones, Jemma Wilson and Jessica Gardiner were 1-2-3 in class to put Australia on top of the standings after day one. Those results have built an early advantage of 7m38.57s over France at the conclusion of day one.
