Raceline Pirelli Suzuki's Madden eyeing the MXD podium

Raceline Pirelli Suzuki is preparing to take on tough Toowoomba terrain.

Raceline Pirelli Suzuki press release:

Raceline Pirelli Suzuki is preparing to take on tough Toowoomba terrain, as the MX Nationals heads to Echo Valley for round nine of the 2015 MX Nationals this Sunday, August 23.

After making significant improvements at round eight in Nowra, MXD young gun Jesse Madden has his eyes on a championship podium position, and is planning to put the results on the board at Echo Valley this weekend. Madden, who calls Queensland home, says he’s excited to get to work this weekend, and has put in solid training in preparation for round nine of the series.

“I’m really excited for this weekend – I’ve been training very hard in preparation for this round so hopefully it all pays off,” he said.

“I’ve raced at Echo Valley a lot, and I’ve also trained there recently, so knowing the track should definitely give me a helping hand, and fingers crossed I can get some good results for the team.

“The podium position in this year’s championship is still very achievable, so if I can get in a good couple of races at Toowoomba this weekend, we should be in a good spot to put in a final charge at Coolum.”

Raceline Pirelli Suzuki Team Manager Chris Woods, also says he’s quietly confident that Toowoomba will deliver the results required this weekend.

“We’re quietly reserved as always, but given that we’re heading into Jesse’s home state, the next two rounds are looking positive for us,” he said.

“From all accounts, Jesse has done quite a bit of riding – and after his performance at the last round, I think he really showed what can be achieved in just a couple of weeks – he found a good few seconds on the top guys.

“He has nothing to lose now, so he’s no doubt going to be hanging it out there, and after all, everyone remembers the last couple of races, so these next two rounds are very important.

“We have a very good setup with the Suzuki this weekend, and this is one track that, that should shine through – so I’m pretty excited to see what we’re all capable of this weekend.”
