Verdict:
While all were left stunned by the machinery incident involving Matt Moss, the races did go on and it was Mosig who stood up to a challenge for his second round win of the year. He’s been capable of doing it at many rounds this year, but Sunday Mosig had consistency on his side to pull off the overall. Monea was able to turnaround his race one performance for the moto two win, which came as a nice reward for the team at this stage of the season. Gibbs soldiered through a fractured shoulderblade for third overall in a championship performance, while teammate Styke was just outside the podium after charging hard in both motos. Reardon was a front-runner all day for fifth, but he will want more – especially considering his teammate won once again. As for young gun Jesse Dobson, we mustn’t look past his pair of fifth places for sixth overall, because he’s proving himself as one of the sport’s finest despite his youth.

Verdict:
There was a mixture of guys in the running to win Sunday’s MX2 races, however it was Katsuya and Clout who pulled through. Funnily enough it was Ward who managed to make it four overalls in a row via his 2-3 scorecard. With Katsuya, Wilson and Clout all finishing within a point of eachother and in that order, the title as it stands didn’t really change and it appears that every position in every moto from this point on will count when it’s that close. There’s no room for major error. In fifth overall Crawford was blazingly quick, especially in moto one, and the likes of Wills ran up front once again.
