Honda Motorcycles press release:

Honda has announced a hot new deal on several of its famous CRF motorcycles.

The Honda CRF250R and CRF450R have stamped their authority on the Australian motocross market and demonstrated why they’re renowned worldwide. Now Honda is offering buyers a massive $2000* Honda Dollars on the purchase of these famed CRF250R and CRF450R models. And there’s $1000* Honda Dollars on offer too, for CRF150R/RB buyers.

Honda Dollars can be used at the dealership on a wide variety of accessories such as helmets, gloves and jackets, for servicing, or as a credit towards the motorcycle purchased. The new offers, start on April 1 and end on May 31 2015, making these MX stars more affordable than ever before.

Both the 2015-spec CRF250R and CRF450R have received rave reviews since their release last September, thanks to a series of refinements and upgrades which are an impressive reflection on Honda’s commitment to its MX lineup.

The CRF250R and CRF 450R have been treated to a new, three-way Engine Mode Select Button (EMSB), which enables riders to personalise power delivery from super-smooth to ultra-aggressive, simply by using the handlebar-mounted button.

Mode 1 delivers the standard combination of ECU maps, Mode 2 serves up smoother throttle control and Mode 3 returns a more aggressive power delivery. This feature is an industry first for MX motorcycles, and makes tuning the CRF250R and CRF450R for differing track conditions easy.

The Honda CRF450R model also boasts a sharper throttle response across the board thanks to a host of changes, including a new exhaust system, updated PGM-FI Duel Fuel settings and a redesigned HRC-spec cylinder head.

While the sixth-generation aluminium frame is unchanged on the 2015-spec CRF250R, a lower engine position centralises weight distribution. The new lightweight 48mm Showa air forks, radiator and electronics cut weight further to an exceptionally competitive 105.2kg.

For younger MX racers, Honda has also designed the CRF150R/RB to carry all the heart of its big brothers, but in a more compact, manageable package. The liquid-cooled 149cc, 4-stroke engine offers unrivalled performance and ease of use, while the lightweight internal auto decompression and handlebar-mounted hot-start system provide easy starting.

An integral part of the CRF racing lineup, the 150R/RB now comes with $1000* Honda Dollars until the end of May.Honda’s MX range gives riders and racers of every skill level the chance to climb aboard a high performance, winning machine at a great price.
